How much does shipping cost? Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of the lampshade. While our shades are lightweight, they require generous foam lining and sturdy packaging to arrive safely—so postage is based on parcel size rather than weight.
Do you offer free shipping? Yes! For the month of July, we’re offering free shipping Australia-wide—no code needed. Outside of promotions, we offer free shipping on orders over $200, and flat rates for smaller orders depending on location.
Why does shipping vary so much? We use custom boxes, upholstery foam, and bubble wrap to protect each shade. This creates a larger parcel size, which affects the shipping cost—especially for interstate deliveries. For example, a 35 cm shade may ship in a 53×38×26 cm box, billed as 10.5 kg even if it weighs under 2 kg.
How are lampshades packed? With love and layers of protection 💛 Each shade is foam-lined, bubble-wrapped, and boxed to prevent squashing or shifting during transit. We want your lampshade to arrive just as beautiful as when it left the studio.
Do you ship internationally? Not at this time—but we’re working on it! If you’re overseas and interested in a piece, feel free to reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.
🧵 Returns & Change-of-Mind Policy
Can I return my lampshade if I change my mind? We kindly ask that you choose thoughtfully. Each Artisan Lampshade is stitched with care and packed with intention—it often takes longer to prepare one for safe travel than to create it. Because of the detailed packing process and handmade nature of our pieces, we do not accept returns due to change of mind.
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. We’ll guide you through the next steps, noting that return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility—both for returning the item and receiving any replacement.
